"I really enjoyed this book. I found it equal to and even exceeding the talents of some more famous authors. The story line was quite interesting with the surprise death of a husband and surprises in what was left behind and instant wealth previously unknown. The scenery from San Francisco to Italy, along with foods and wines in the mix adds flavor to the journey to discover hidden truths about something she thought she knew so well. Even when my eyes were tired, I didn't want to wait until tomorrow to find out more clues and more surprises."
"Champagne Lies is an exciting, fun read with twists and turns that keeps the reader guessing to the last page. Combining humor and adventure with secrets and lies, Ms. VanHatten deftly spins an intriguing tale that spans two continents as well as a thirty year marriage. I enjoyed every page."
“Stacie can’t figure out what’s happening in her life. First, it’s her husband, then it’s the jewelry, finally it’s the villa. Where did all of this come from and why are there so many people disappearing. Better yet…what do all of these dead people have to do with her?”
